  • 800 gram cannellini beans (whitebean) or equivalent rinsed
  • 680 gram basilico sauce or napoletana sauce
  • 2 cups chicken broth already mixed in water
  • 1 medium onion chopped
  • 1/2 cup roasted red bell peppers drained chooped
  • 250 gram ground meat
  • 100 gram shredded cheese
  • 1 tbsp Latino Bella Extra Virgin Olive Oil


  • Heat Latino Bella Olive Oil in large pot on medium-high heat. Added meats, cook 6-8 min or until done, using wooden spoon to break up large pieces.
  • Add onions, cook 3-4 min or until translucent, stirring frequently. Stir in sauce, broth, beans and roasted bell pepper. Cook 7-10 min or until heated through. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
  • Sprinkle with optional toppings before serving
  • Variations: Substitute 2-3 Italian turkey sausage links with casings removed for the bulk Italian sausage. Make this chili vegan by substituting plant-based Italian sausage & vegan protein crumbles and vegetable broth.
